Women's Bible Study

Have you ever wanted to study the book of Habakkuk? Join the women of the Crossing as we spend 6 weeks studying one of the Minor Prophet books of the Bible.

This group meets in person at the church in the lower cafe on Saturday mornings from 8:30-10:30.

About The Study:

Do you ever arrive to a situation trembling in weakness and leave in awe? Do you often think, “How long will it be like this? God, what are you doing?” Do you ever feel stuck in a pit wondering how long you will be there? In this book, Trembling Faith, by Taylor Turkington, she walks us through the minor Prophet book of Habakkuk. This Prophet takes us on a journey where we will see God’s faithfulness and points us to a lens through which we can look at the evil and corruption of the world and still have faith. There are injustices everywhere. At times, we pray bold prayers; at times we struggle with this and don’t know what to pray. Habakkuk models for us how to speak to God when life is agonizing and reminds us that we are not alone in our words as we lift them to heaven. Be prepared to encounter a message of lasting hope through trembling, wrestling faith in the God who works in our chaotic world.

Have you ever wanted to study the book of Revelation, but found it intimidating? Join the women of the Crossing as we spend this season in the last book in the Bible. This is a time of fellowship, study, group discussion and community building.

This group meets in person at the church in the cafe on Tuesday mornings from 9-11:30

About The Study:

Revelation: Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom, by Jen Wilkin is a verse-by verse study that will guide us through a letter written two thousand years ago to the seven churches in Asia Minor. Over a period of 20 weeks, we will gain a deeper understanding of the images and ideas in the last book of the Bible and how it speaks a steadying word of assorance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age.

Blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it because the time is near.

-Revelation 1:3
